Here you can read the translation of my very first, short Hungarian blog post from 05/11/2014 which was upgraded in 2018. So I started writing with the name PaleoSport and later with deep understanding the importance of light biology I continued as SunnyFitness.

How and why?
It’s time for a name change…
PaleoSport was launched in 2014. At that time I had been on a paleo diet for a few years and was becoming more and more interested in natural forms of exercise. I was very interested in both areas, nutrition and sport. I thought I’d combine the two and start an old-new line, where we target the fitness and lifestyle of a hunter-gatherer.
Over the last 4 years, books and articles have been written about healthy living. We have put all this into practice in our training sessions and PaleoSport camps or in the Hungarian Polar Bear Club.
I realised a long time ago that a healthy lifestyle is not only about nutrition or exercise, there are many other factors that play a role in being healthy or sick…
In my first book I collected a lot of things, taking into account the habits of animals and natural peoples and compared them with my – mainly biochemical and only slightly biophysical… – approach at the time.
A few years have passed since then and I have realised that what I want to represent has not fit into the paleo or sports only framework, nor even biochemistry, for some time.
It’s best to run it under my own name, so I don’t feel constrained by any boundaries, I’m free to think about it and advocate for whatever I think is good for health.
Nothing is certain but change…
As I diligently continued to study the mysteries of human metabolism, it became clear that biophysics, or quantum biology if you like, is the true scientific approach to describing how living things work. All other views are, in my opinion, only partial truths.
I need a theory that fits everything from A to Z. From nutrition, to sports, to sleep, to our whole environment, the sun, the moon, the stars, the universe, etc…
So far I think the only available approach is quantum biology. And human metabolism does not start with nutrition, but with circadian rhythms. Living organisms began to adapt to the alternation of day and night much earlier than to think about whether to eat bacon or wholemeal bread with salad…
The fuel of man can be any food we eat and the engine of man is the mitochondria. If the engine is broken, it is useless to have high tech fuel, the engine should be repaired first. And in the modern world I think the engine is the problem for many people.
Evolution did not start in the Paleolithic era, but with the appearance of the first living beings or even with the birth of the Earth, the universe! I have realised that besides refined, processed foods, there is at least as big a problem in our environment today, and that is a lot of artificial lighting, time spent between four walls, electrosmog, lack of natural sunlight.
So I became a sun fanatic, also from a scientific point of view. I’m still mostly on a paleo diet, but there are some things that are more important from now on…
Now please stop for a minute and think about what you know about the role of the sun in the history and functioning of the earth and living things.

Modern ills, ancient solutions
I think modern man has mostly a lack of sunlight and nature and an excess of artificial blue light. Of course, poor diet and lack of exercise and many other things are also important, but theses are only secondary effects.
Also, I find that the effect of sunlight on the human body is very misunderstood. How can it be harmful to the very thing we owe the origin of life to? Could it be that what is wrong with the modern world is rather our sunlight absorbing system? You don’t have to agree with me, just take a good look at how our mitochondria work and the biological effects of different lights!

I grew up as canoeist athlete, the sport is still a passion of mine, so I stay with the athletic line and natural movements, mostly outdoors. Sunny Fitness – that’s outdoor workouts with natural movements. I also continue to research the mysteries of human metabolism using the method of quantum biology. These are the topics I intend to provide inspiration and useful information on in the following. I will also continue writing to help you understand why I have come to the above conclusions.
